These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and guidelines for using the Nine Lives Cat Café website (“Site”) and visiting the physical premises of Nine Lives Cat Café (“Café”). By accessing our Site or visiting the Café, you agree to adhere to these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, please refrain from using the Site or visiting the Café.

Section I: Site Terms and Conditions

1. Overview and Applicability

1.1. Site Ownership: The website (https://ninelivescatfe.com) is owned and managed by Nine Lives Cat Café (“we”, “our”, or “us”). All content, services, and material provided on the Site are the intellectual property of Nine Lives Cat Café and its licensors.

1.2. Agreement to Terms: By accessing or using our Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

1.3. Eligibility: Users of this Site must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent or guardian.

1.4. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the Terms will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of Pune, Maharashtra.

1.5. Changes to the Terms: Nine Lives Cat Café reserves the right to modify these Terms or the Site’s content at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the Site.

1.6. Geographic Restrictions: The Site primarily serves users in India. We do not guarantee the content will be applicable or accessible in other locations.

 

2. Privacy and Data Usage

2.1. Data Collection: By using the Site, you consent to collect personal information, such as your name, email address, and payment details, as required for processing bookings of purchases.

2.2. Use of Data: Your personal information will only be used for purposes such as processing inquiries, managing bookings, and improving our services.

2.3. Cookies: The Site employs cookies and tracking technologies to enhance user experience. By using the Site, you consent to our use of cookies.

2.4. Security: While we implement robust security measures, we cannot guarantee complete protection of your data due to the inherent risks of internet-based transactions.

3. Payments and Refunds

3.1. Payments: All online transactions are processed securely via third-party payment gateways. Nine Lives Cat Café does not store payment details.

3.2. Refunds: Refunds for services or products are subject to the policies outlined in Section III of these Terms.

 

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. Ownership: All materials on the Site, including text, graphics, and logos, are the intellectual property of Nine Lives Cat Café and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws. Unauthorised use of these materials is strictly prohibited.

4.2. User-Generated Content: By submitting any content (e.g., reviews or feedback) to the Site, you grant Nine Lives Cat Café a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and display such content.


Section II: Café Terms

5. Visitor Responsibilities

5.1. Behaviour: Visitors must behave respectfully toward staff, other patrons, and the resident cats. Disruptive, harmful, or inappropriate behaviour will result in immediate removal from the premises.

5.2. Interaction with Cats:

  • 5.2.1. Cats must be handled gently and respectfully at all times
  • 5.2.2. Loud noises, chasing, or teasing cats are strictly prohibited.
  • 5.2.3. Visitors under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
  • 5.2.4. Entry of outside pets into the Café is not permitted to ensure the safety of our resident cats.

5.3. Photography: Photography is permitted for personal use. However, flash photography and professional equipment require prior approval.

5.4. Food and Beverages: Outside food and drinks are prohibited, with exceptions made for infants under two years of age. The Café provides a variety of food and beverages for purchase.


6. Booking and Cancellations

6.1. Booking Policy:

  • 6.1.1. Reservations are recommended to secure your visit.
  • 6.1.2. Walk-ins are accommodated based on availability.

6.2. Cancellations:

  1. Reservation Cancellations
  •    6.2.1  Cancellations made 8 hours or more before the reservation time will receive a full refund  or the option to reschedule at no extra cost.  
  •    6.2.2 Cancellations made 4-8 hours before the reservation time will receive a 50% refund 
  •    6.2.3 Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the reservation time or no-shows will not be eligible for a refund. 

    2. Group Bookings 
  •    For group reservations (5 or more people), cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to receive a full refund.  
  • Cancellations made **48-72 hours** in advance will receive a **50% refund**.  
  •  No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.  
  1. Special Events  
  •  Cancellations for events such as workshops, parties, or private bookings must be made at least 7 days in advance to receive a full refund.  
  •    Cancellations made 3-7 days in advance will receive a 50% refund.  
  •    No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the event.  
  1. Refund Process
  •   Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.  
  •   Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be done within **30 days** of the original booking date.  
  1. Force Majeure
  •  In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, emergencies), the café reserves the right to reschedule or cancel reservations. Refunds or credits will be provided on a case-by-case basis.

  •    – All cancellations must be made via email or phone. Contact details can be found on our website.  

7. Liability and Safety

7.1. Allergies: Visitors with allergies to cats or related allergens are responsible for managing their exposure. Nine Lives Cat Café will not be held liable for allergic reactions.

7.2. Accidents: While we strive to provide a safe environment, Nine Lives Cat Café is not responsible for injuries sustained due to interactions with cats or accidents within the premises.

7.3. Personal Belongings: Visitors are solely responsible for their personal belongings. The Café is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.


Section III: General Terms

8. Refunds and Special Arrangements

8.1. Refunds: Eligible refunds for bookings or services will be processed within 7-15 business days via NEFT. Proof of payment is required for payment processing.

8.2. Events:

  • 8.2.1. Event booking may be rescheduled up to 1  time without additional fees, subject to availability.
  • 8.2.2. Cancellations made within 8 hours of booking will receive a full refund; cancellations made thereafter will incur a 50% cancellation fee.


9. Discrimination Policy

Nine Lives Cat Café strictly adheres to a zero-tolerance policy that prohibits any form of discrimination, harassment, or bullying. Any individual found engaging in such behaviour will be asked to leave and may face further consequences, including permanent exclusion.


10. General Disclaimers

10.1. Cat Availability: the presence of specific cats cannot be guaranteed, as they are free to roam throughout the Café.

10.2. Service Availability: While we endeavour to provide uninterrupted access to the Café and its services, operation constraints may occasionally cause disruptions.

10.3. Third-Party Links: Our Site or Café may reference external websites or services. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party entities.


11. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Site or visiting the Café, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms in their entirety. These Terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Nine Lives Cat Café.
